Finn’s New Home

Well, here it is, folks, my home sweet home! It’s small, and cost me most of my money, but it has everything I could possible want, and there aren’t any silly cow mascots, either! I even managed to get a job in my chosen field the morning I moved in! Criminal Mastermind, here I come! Of course, I still have quite a way to go before I get there, but I have every confidence I can make it all the way to the top. Who knows, I may even decide on a career change once I get there. A couple of my friends from college threw a party for me when I first moved in, and I think someone spiked the punch with alcohol, because I felt awful when I woke up the next morning. I felt like I had a second heartbeat in my head, the thought of food of any kind made my stomach churn, and I threw up in someone’s shoe! Hey, c’mon, quit laughing, it’s not funny! (Heh, welcome to the world of hangovers, Finn!)

Someone, I don’t remember who, told me that the best cure for a hangover is yoga, and they were right! By the time the carpool arrived, I was feeling like my old self again, thank goodness! My friends reckon that we’ll have to have another party again soon, but I’m not as enthusiastic about it as they are. I don’t like the feeling that the world is trying to throw me off at all!

(Just a shorty this time, because I’m slightly hangover myself. Poor Finn, my heart goes out to him, although I wasn’t at a party last night. My mother and I got drunk watching ‘The Highwaymen’.)
